General Cherry’s drones struck nearly 40,000 Russian targets during spring 2026

Ukrainian defence tech company General Cherry has shared the results of its drones’ operations during spring 2026. Over three months, military personnel using its unmanned systems struck nearly 40,000 enemy targets.

The company told Defender Media that the figures were based on data from the Delta situational awareness system, which is used by the Armed Forces to, among other things, record the results of strike-asset deployments.

General Cherry’s drones thus ranked first across the following metrics:

• by the number of ePoints accrued among all strike assets;
• by the number of enemy fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs shot down;
• by the total number of strikes carried out by FPV drones.

The company’s current lineup includes radio-controlled and fibre-optic FPV drones, as well as interceptors. In April, the manufacturer also unveiled Khmarynka – a fixed-wing kamikaze drone. And in June, together with STRIX, it revealed a new interceptor for jet-powered Shaheds.

The company will participate in the American Drone Dominance programme with one of its drones. Under the programme, the US will test UAVs from various manufacturers and select ten winners, from which it will procure 60,000 units. In addition to General Cherry, four other Ukrainian companies will take part in the competition.
