DoD Solution has partnered with the Netherlands’ Axelera AI to develop its autonomy system
Axelera AI’s AI-computation acceleration technology will be integrated into DoD’s autonomy platform

The Estonian-Ukrainian deftech company DoD Solution has announced a strategic partnership with the Netherlands’ Axelera AI, which develops artificial intelligence solutions. The developers disclosed this to Defender Media.
Under the plan, Axelera AI’s AI-computation acceleration technology will be integrated into AURA, the autonomy platform from the Ukrainian developer. In the first stage, the companies will focus on modules for interceptor drones.
DoD Solution explains that in such systems, processing data from sensors, target recognition and tracking, navigation and terminal guidance must take place within milliseconds. The Metis M.2 processor from Axelera AI is expected to handle these tasks.
Later, the technologies developed within the partnership will apply to other autonomous defence systems. The companies add that they will work jointly on their integration, testing and validation.
Last month, DoD Solution also announced a partnership with the American company Lantronix. Under it, Lantronix’s onboard computing solutions based on Qualcomm will be integrated into the AURA onboard computer.
