KARA UAV can deliver FPV drones behind enemy lines and operate as a relay

The state-run Brave1 Market platform has listed the KARA fixed-wing multifunctional UAV produced by Ukrskytechnology LLC. As the manufacturer told Defender Media, depending on its payload and equipment, KARA can deliver and drop cargo, operate as a relay, transport FPV drones behind enemy lines, or perform strike missions.

The UAV is offered in three configuration options:

• an empty airframe without avionics, which can be equipped independently based on mission requirements;
• a Plug-N-Play version with basic equipment and electronics partially installed;
• a Ready-To-Fly version, fully prepared for launch and mission execution.

KARA has a tactical radius of 70 km, with a stated endurance of 2.5 hours. Its operating altitude is 200 m, with a service ceiling of 3,000 m. The drone’s cruising speed is 90 km/h, with a maximum speed of 120 km/h.

The UAV can be fitted with either an electric motor or an internal combustion engine. The payload is mounted under the wing centre section on the port and starboard sides of the airframe—two units weighing up to 3 kg each.

KARA is launched via catapult and lands like a conventional fixed-wing aircraft. Deployment and pre-flight preparation take 10 minutes.

The UAV is listed at UAH 440,000 on the marketplace and is currently undergoing codification.
