The UK opens a defence business centre in Kyiv

The UK plans to open a defence business centre in Ukraine. It is intended to provide companies from the United Kingdom with wider access to Ukrainian industry and the military sector. This was reported by UK Defence Journal, citing remarks by UK Defence Minister of State Luke Pollard.

The business centre will be located in Kyiv and will provide market analysis, helping British companies establish contacts in Ukraine and conclude export agreements and partnerships.

The London-headquartered Audere group has become a partner in developing this centre, the UK government announced. It comprises Audere International, which specialises in commercial intelligence and investigations, and Audere Securus, which provides intelligence-based security services.

Initially, the business centre will focus on the defence sector, but later British partners will be able to use it to support the future reconstruction and development of Ukraine.

Some companies from the United Kingdom are already operating in Ukraine. Evolve Dynamics, which produces UAVs and payloads, has announced the opening of an office in Kyiv. Meanwhile, the startup Isembard plans to launch an AI-based factory here for the production of defence tech components.
