Ukrainian paratroopers have demonstrated the Hyena UGV in action, deployed in the Pokrovsk direction. This loitering munition drone is compact in size but extremely fast, carrying 26 kilograms of explosives.
The released video shows the four-wheeled robot manoeuvring through narrow passages and destroying well-fortified enemy positions in built-up areas.
The Hyena UGV is a development by the Brave1 resident UGV Laboratory, a participant in the defence cluster. The drone can be used as a guided munition that remains in standby mode until the most opportune moment to strike. The UGV is capable of reaching speeds of up to 16 km/h and, thanks to its modular hull design, demonstrates high stability and resistance to overturning even in difficult terrain.
Defender has previously reported on ground robots deployed by the Khartia Brigade and the different ways drones are being used.
