An FPV drone made by Vyriy Industries has hit a target at a distance of 110 km – a record for this UAV
The previous range record belonged to a pilot from the 34th Unmanned Systems Centre. The serviceman hit a target at a distance of 82 km

A 15-inch FPV drone from Vyriy Industries has hit a target at a distance of 110 km. This is a range record for this UAV, the company said.
The aircraft was adapted for the mission together with servicemen from the 5th Sumy Border Guard Detachment. The drone was fitted with a terminal guidance system from The Fourth Law, a 40,000 mAh battery and an 850 g warhead from manufacturer Steel Hornets.
This, along with the pilot’s skill, made it possible to hit the target – the video shows the drone attacking a vehicle.
The manufacturer clarified that the range of this UAV depends on the warhead weight, the radio horizon, the pilot’s skills, etc. It varies from 20 to 80 km.
The previous range record belonged to a pilot from the 34th Unmanned Systems Centre. The serviceman hit a target at a distance of 82 km with a warhead weighing 1.2 kg.
Vyriy Industries began the announcement of the new record with the words: “Despite everything, we continue to do our job.” A few days ago, the company was searched over possible overpricing of drones. The State Bureau of Investigation is examining a theory under which the developer allegedly unjustifiably inflated production, administrative, and other costs, thereby affecting the final price of the drones.
At the same time, founder and CEO Oleksii Babenko stated that the cost of their FPV drones is approximately 20% lower than the market average.
