UFORCE has unveiled its new MV11 USV, the largest member of the MAGURA family

Ukrainian-British company UFORCE has developed a new maritime drone, the MV11. It was presented during the robotic parade marking Ukraine’s Independence Day. The manufacturer shared details with Defender Media.

The new USV has become the largest among the Magura drones; it was developed by UFORCE’s Portuguese office. The vessel’s length is 12m, and its width is 3.5m. In addition, the developer states that the MV11 is the largest surface drone in Europe.

The drone can carry a payload of up to 2.2 tonnes over a distance of more than 2,000 nautical miles and operate autonomously for up to seven days. The drone is designed to operate in open sea rather than coastal waters.

The developers say the MV11 is suitable for reconnaissance, supporting amphibious operations and logistics. In particular, it can carry several dozen interceptor drones. For this, the USV has 10 cubic metres of internal space.

UFORCE add that the MV11 is compatible with a wide range of weapons, however, the most effective combat configuration of the drone includes several dozen interceptors, a gyro-stabilised 12.7mm turret and a full sensor suite for radar surveillance and target tracking.

As a reminder, in early August, DIU showed an operation by its unit, which used a Magura drone with FPV drones on board. The agency stated that it used “the latest Magura” and destroyed two Russian radar targets.
