F-Drones launches FPV drone simulator, Ukrainians to get free access on August 24
The simulator recreates combat scenarios for practising FPV drone piloting in conditions close to real-world operations

On August 24, Ukrainian drone manufacturer F-Drones will make F-Drones Simulator available to Ukrainian users for free on the Steam gaming marketplace. F-Drones told Defender Media.
F-Drones Simulator is a virtual training platform for FPV drone pilots. It recreates combat scenarios for practising piloting and mission execution in conditions designed to be as close to real-world operations as possible.
The simulator is built on an existing Steam training platform developed by a company that partnered with F-Drones. The team added F-Drones’ drone models, along with their physics and specifications. The company says piloting performance is affected by terrain, battery level, radio horizon, communications, electronic warfare and the drone’s configuration.
F-Drones says a separate, expanded version of the simulator will be available for military personnel and training centres.
On Ukraine’s Independence Day, Ukrainian users will be able to get the simulator for free and continue using it without restrictions. The company will announce how to get free access on the morning of August 24 on its social media pages, including Facebook and Instagram.
