Mobile EW for protection against drones: how AD Cerberus from Kvertus works
The effective range of the system exceeds 100 metres, depending on the conditions

The Ukrainian company Kvertus has introduced a new mobile electronic warfare system called AD Cerberus, which can be installed on vehicles. It is designed to protect against attacks by radio-controlled drones and is capable of operating at a distance of more than 100 metres, depending on the conditions of use.
The AD Cerberus device works for up to 12 hours and adapts to the user’s needs. It has remote antennas and allows you to design EW systems with your own set of one to 12 bands. Thanks to the modular design, users can independently determine the protection configuration.
“One module can have 1–4 frequency bands of interference, of your choice. That is, we have a kind of ‘EW IKEA’, adaptive and affordable,” the Kvertus post also says.
The Cerberus jamming signals are transmitted using quadrifilar antennas that create a reliable dome-shaped protection around the vehicle. The system is capable of operating for up to 12 hours in continuous mode after an hour-long pause when powered by a standard 220 V power supply. The time to bring it to full combat readiness is no more than 30 seconds.
Earlier this month, Kvertus announced the start of mass production of electronic warfare systems based on a ground robotic platform.
