The HOT DOG interceptor reaches speeds of up to 250 km/h and has a range of 80 km

The fixed-wing HOT DOG interceptor has appeared on the state-run Brave1 marketplace. The drone is designed to perform air defence missions, intercept and destroy aerial targets. Its maximum speed is 250 km/h, while its cruising speed is 100 km/h.

According to the manufacturer, HOT DOG has already accounted for more than 300 downed targets, and its use has been confirmed by eight combat units of the Defence Forces. The drone is currently undergoing codification.

The unmanned aerial vehicle can remain airborne for up to 60 minutes, has a tactical operating radius of up to 80 km, a maximum flight altitude of 5,000 metres, and can carry a payload of up to 1.6 kg. It can be launched either by catapult or by hand.

The HOT DOG is equipped with an analogue daylight camera and a thermal imager with a resolution of 640×512 pixels, capable of detecting thermal signatures at distances of up to 1.7 km. The manufacturer also states that the camera has a 180-degree field of view and supports simultaneous operation of the daylight and thermal imaging channels.

Communications are provided via the dual-channel, jam-resistant system, which, according to the manufacturer, ensures stable operation in areas affected by electronic warfare.

The price of the HOT DOG on the Brave1 marketplace is about UAH 98,000, or from UAH 1.5 million when purchased as part of a UAV system consisting of 10 or more units.
