Military intercepts the first thousand enemy drones with Hornet Vision Ctrl remote control system

Air defence crews have destroyed over a thousand Russian drones using Hornet Vision Ctrl technology, according to its developer, Ukrainian company Wild Hornets.

Hornet Vision Ctrl enables operators to remotely control Wild Hornets drones, including the Sting interceptor drone.

Among the intercepted drones were Shaheds, Gerberas and reconnaissance drones. Most confirmed kills were in the Kyiv direction – over 600 targets. A further 350 enemy drones were destroyed in Odesa region, with the rest destroyed in other areas.

Hornet Vision Ctrl was unveiled in March this year, and in summer it became the first remote drone control system to be codified by the Ministry of Defence.

The complex consists of a ground control station with a digital video system with an omnidirectional antenna, as well as equipment for remote connection of the operator’s workstation. The complex is compatible with Wild Hornets drones that use the Hornet Vision communication system.
