Farsight Vision raises €600K investment
Ukrainian-Estonian defence startup raises a new round

The Ukrainian-Estonian battlefield intelligence platform Farsight Vision has attracted €600K in investment. The Darkstar Coalition invested in the project, according to their LinkedIn page.
The startup team has developed an intelligence and situational awareness platform that seamlessly integrates and analyses drone footage, creating a ‘digital twin’ of the battlefield. This reduces data processing time from days to minutes and enables more efficient mission execution.
According to DarkStar co-founder and entrepreneur Ragnar Sass, the platform has already demonstrated its effectiveness on the battlefield, and his team received one of the most positive reviews during the first Extreme Bootcamp.
It is also said that the selection of teams for Extreme Bootcamp 2.0 continues, although the deadline expired on 15 September. The organisers will select the top ten teams. More than €1.5 mln in investments are at stake.
Speaking to AIN, Ragnar Sass said that the Farsight platform has already proven its effectiveness on the battlefield, helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He also emphasised the startup’s great potential.
“Rapid intelligence analytics is a crucial element for any successful military decision. Farsight’s platform has already been proven in combat – it has helped the Ukrainian army win historic victories over the past few months. The Farsight team received some of the strongest positive feedback during our first Bootcamp. Both from the Ukrainian military and our mentors”, insist Sass.
Darkstar is a coalition of over 20 founders, hackers and investors from Estonia, Ukraine, Germany, France and the UK. They are all united by a common goal – building an ecosystem of European defence technologies.
