TAF Industries partners with Poland’s PGZ to localise drone production
The partnership sets out a strategic framework for industrial cooperation focused on UAVs and counter-drone technologies

Ukrainian defence tech company TAF Industries has signed a partnership memorandum with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), one of Europe’s largest defence groups. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for industrial cooperation focused on UAVs and counter-drone systems.
The partnership aims to expand manufacturing capacity, secure the production of critical components, and achieve deep localisation of UAV production in Poland by leveraging the extensive industrial infrastructure of the PGZ Capital Group.
The roadmap includes joint research and development projects, co-financing mechanisms, secure technical information exchange, and operational testing to ensure all locally manufactured platforms meet the highest NATO standards.
The project is being implemented under the Build with Ukraine initiative. The memorandum was signed during the Ukrainian Recovery Conference in Gdańsk by TAF Industries founder Oleksandr Yakovenko and PGZ President Adam Leszkiewicz and Vice President Jan Grabowski.
According to Yakovenko, combining the technological strengths of TAF Industries and PGZ will create a resilient European manufacturing hub for UAV and counter-drone technologies, directly strengthening the security of allied nations and their shared borders.
Two other international defence tech partnerships were also announced at the Ukrainian Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. Ukrainian company Roboneers and Germany’s ARX Robotics unveiled a joint venture, ARX Industries, which will manufacture tens of thousands of Lynx Pro ground robotic systems for the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s HIMERA and Finland’s Bittium agreed to jointly develop tactical communications systems.
