Swarmer has signed a $2.8m contract with SkyKnight drones manufacturer
The deal covers over 16,000 software licences to be used aboard the drones

Ukrainian-US defence tech company Swarmer and Meta Bureau have signed a contract for over 16,000 software licences to be used aboard the latter’s drones. The deal is valued at $2.86m, though Meta Bureau may optionally upgrade certain licences for an additional $10.4m.
Meta Bureau manufactures SkyKnight drones, and Swarmer’s software is planned for integration on those and other drones in the company’s fleet. The AI system developer intends to use mission data to further improve its models and enhance software performance.
“The contract includes two separate license allocations for the entire Swarmer Platform, which includes Swarmer’s operating system, artificial intelligence and user interface. It also includes one license allocation just for Swarmer OS, which can be upgraded to the full stack via the cloud,” the press release states.
Swarmer develops artificial intelligence-based software that enables swarm drone control. Yesterday, the company announced a partnership with Ukrainian firms X-Drone, Norda Dynamics, and Kara Dag Technologies to create a comprehensive unmanned threat interception system. The project involves integrating detection, guidance, autonomous control, and interception capabilities into a single platform.
