HIMERA has released version 3.0 of its tactical communications system. According to the company, the update focuses on expanding compatibility, enhancing security, and improving usability in combat conditions.

One of the key changes is the introduction of a remote wipe command for G1 PRO radios, enabling all data on a device to be deleted in the event of loss or compromise.

Developers have also strengthened system security by adding support for quantum-secure encryption developed in collaboration with Quantropi. This solution complements the standard AES-256 encryption and provides an additional layer of data protection with a 1024-bit key, the company said.

Other updates include expanded integration capabilities and support for additional device configuration tools. The release also brings improvements in operational stability, data transmission optimisation, and enhanced customisation options.

In addition, the user interface has been updated to support the Ukrainian language, add new menu items, and enable offline access to training materials.

According to HIMERA’s co-founder and CEO, Misha Rudominski, the team continues to refine its solutions based on user feedback. “Most of the changes in this release are a response to real requests and practical experience of using our communications system,” he said.
