Ukrainian agricultural machinery manufacturer unveils Tarantul Cargo logistics UGV
The UGV reaches speeds of up to 16 km/h and can transport loads of up to 300 kilograms

Recently, the Ukrainian agricultural machinery manufacturer Elektroagrotechnika published a video on its YouTube channel announcing that the company has launched the logistics UGV Tarantul Cargo. Defender Media spoke with the ground drone manufacturer and learned more about this development.
The Tarantul Cargo has an operational range of up to 15 kilometres and can cover up to 30 kilometres off-road on a single charge, overcoming obstacles up to 30 centimetres high. The UGV reaches speeds of up to 16 km/h and can transport loads of up to 300 kilograms. It is also capable of fording water obstacles up to 40 centimetres deep. The robot is equipped with a night vision camera and supports ERLS and Starlink digital communication standards.
In addition to the Tarantul Cargo, the manufacturer has also developed a smaller mine-laying UGV, the Tarantul, capable of carrying two mines and performing detonation. Both robots are currently undergoing testing at a proving ground and in combat units, and are being prepared for codification.
Earlier, Defender Media reported on crash tests of strike UGVs in Lviv, where robots from the most popular manufacturers had to cover a five-kilometre obstacle course under combat-like conditions and carry out live-fire exercises.
