60+ new job openings in Ukrainian defence tech: offers from Vyriy, TENCORE, Ukrspecsystems and others

Another week – another selection of job opportunities in Ukrainian defence tech. This time, we have gathered more than 60 current vacancies from Ukrainian defence companies, as well as from our partners BazaIT Defense and CORE Team.

Among the companies that are currently actively looking for specialists and that made the news last week are Vyriy Industries, TENCORE, Sky Defenders and DevDroid. The selection includes vacancies for engineers and developers, production specialists, and managers and executives of various levels.

Vyriy Industries, which develops autonomous systems for use in real combat conditions, was the first Ukrainian deftech company to issue corporate bonds. In the first 24 hours, investors put more than UAH 500 million into them. The company currently has more than 20 vacancies available – they are looking for both engineers and managers across various areas.

Ukrainian developer of ground robotic complexes TENCORE has codified a strike version of the TerMIT UGV fitted with the “Khyzhak” combat module from another well-known manufacturer, UGV Robotics. To strengthen its position in the market, the company is looking for a communications engineer for robotic platforms and other engineers. A total of more than 10 offers are available.

This week it became known that Sky Defenders plans to integrate its aerial drones into the Katran family of maritime drones. Sky Defenders is known for developing several models of UAVs for offensive and defensive operations: the “Vyriy” kamikaze drone, and the “Yarui” and “Zigzag” interceptors. The company’s products have been used in combat conditions for almost two years. On the manufacturer’s website, there is an option to submit your application for recruiters’ consideration.

Deftech company DevDroid has introduced new functions for its universal UGV control system, Droid Box. Drones equipped with Droid Box can now automatically navigate sections with no or unstable connection. Meanwhile, the company has open positions for testers, engineers and developers.

Ukrainian manufacturer of UAVs, aviation systems and additional equipment Ukrspecsystems is looking for a production manager, a head of strategic production scaling, a head of the production planning and control centre, a videographer, and other specialists.
