Ukrainian defence tech company TAF Industries has signed a memorandum of understanding with Luxembourg’s LUXUAV. The manufacturers plan to cooperate on unmanned systems development, according to a press release.

The memorandum was signed as part of the Build with Ukraine programme. TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi says the partnership will allow them to accelerate innovation, expand production capacity and develop technologies that will make Ukraine and Europe safer.

“Together with LUXUAV, we will work on the development, industrialisation and deployment of unmanned systems in Luxembourg and Belgium,” the company said.

LUXUAV is developing an integrated UAV ecosystem in Europe. The architecture covers communication systems, AI-based software and unmanned aerial vehicles.

TAF Industries is a Ukrainian manufacturer of FPV drones with a total capacity of around 1 million drones per year. Over the summer, the company signed several joint production agreements with Western businesses, including Denmark’s Upteko.
