Heavy hexacopter Audag-6 by Gurzuf Defence sets 130 kg payload record

The heavy multi-purpose Audag-6 UAV developed by Ukrainian company Gurzuf Defence has set a Ukrainian payload record for multirotor drones. The record was established during the 2026 Ukrainian Technological Sports Cup, held in the Kyiv region on 21 May.

As part of the trials, a competition participant successfully performed a vertical take-off using the Audag-6 carrying a 130 kg payload. During the attempt, the drone climbed to an altitude of 15 metres and maintained the payload in the air for 15 minutes of continuous flight.

A representative of Gurzuf Defence told Defender Media that the Audag-6 has already completed codification and is currently being used by multiple brigades within Ukraine’s Defence Forces. According to the company, it is a multi-role platform that can be used for evacuation, logistics, and combat missions, “with a terminal guidance munition system”.

Gurzuf Defence is a Ukrainian defence tech company that develops and manufactures heavy multirotor UAVs. In addition to the Audag-6, the company’s product line includes the Heavy Shot heavy-bomber drone.

The Ukrainian Technological Sports Cup was organised by the Federation of Technological Sports of Ukraine with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The event brought together more than 300 pilots and operators from across Ukraine, manufacturers of unmanned and robotic systems, engineers, representatives of the security and defence sector, and training and educational centres.
