Ukrainian company Tencore unveiled the MAT1LDA 8×8 amphibious platform, developed by NODRICS, at the AUSA 2026 exhibition in Washington, DC. The platform was displayed alongside the TerMIT 2.0 unmanned ground vehicle, equipped with eight RPV-18 thermobaric rocket-propelled flamethrowers.

MAT1LDA is designed to cross water obstacles and traverse difficult terrain. The platform is powered by a petrol engine and fitted with side-mounted pontoons. According to Tencore, it can carry up to 500kg on land and up to 400kg afloat, with a range of up to 160km on land and 50km on water respectively.

MAT1LDA features an open-frame design that allows different equipment to be fitted, including cargo containers and casualty evacuation stretchers. At the US exhibition, the platform was shown carrying a TerMIT 2.0, which can operate independently once unloaded.

The TerMIT 2.0 is an electric tracked unmanned ground vehicle with a top speed of 15km/h on paved roads and 12km/h off-road. Its range is up to 40km. The platform weighs up to 640kg with armour and has a payload capacity of 327kg in this configuration. The RPV-18 flamethrowers fitted to the vehicle were developed in Ukraine as a lighter version of the RPV-16.

In early October, TENCORE unveiled its ecosystem of platforms, which brings together the TerMIT, TOR, MAT1LDA and TRAX Utility. In an interview with Defender Media, TENCORE co-founder and CEO Maksym Vasylchenko explained that the company is buying other UGV manufacturers, or stakes in them, and integrating their products into the TENCORE Ecosystem.
