DevDroid and Norway’s Inission Norge AS to cooperate on the production of UGV remote control systems
DevDroid’s robotics expertise meets Inission’s manufacturing capabilities

Ukrainian defence tech company DevDroid and Norwegian electronics manufacturer Inission Norge AS have signed a memorandum of understanding, the companies told Defender Media. The partners will work toward jointly producing remote control systems for Ukraine’s Defence Forces and, in the longer term, for Norway and other Scandinavian countries.
The cooperation roadmap provides for the joint development and production of remote control systems. However, the specific production volumes, project implementation timelines and quantities of products to be manufactured have not yet been disclosed.
Inission Norge AS operates manufacturing facilities in Norway and specialises in contract electronics manufacturing, including radio-frequency components and complex printed circuit board assemblies. The company is part of the international Inission Group, which has manufacturing facilities in six countries.

According to DevDroid CEO Yurii Poritskyi, the partnership will combine the Ukrainian company’s experience in developing unmanned ground systems with the Norwegian partner’s manufacturing capabilities.
Inission Norge AS CEO Erik Dragset noted that the companies are exploring the possibility of jointly developing and manufacturing products for the Ukrainian and international markets. According to him, DevDroid brings expertise in developing robotic systems, while Inission Norge AS contributes its electronics manufacturing capabilities, preparation for industrial production, and organisation of serial manufacturing.
DevDroid develops UGVs, combat modules, and remote control systems that incorporate artificial intelligence. Its Droid Box control system, in particular, is designed for the remote operation of UGVs. It is already being used in the combat zone.
