The Ukrainian company Contra-drone has introduced an updated version of its portable drone detector, the SENSE-4. The device is positioned as a four-band UAV detection system capable of operating across an extended frequency range of up to 8.2 GHz and capturing analogue video signals.

SENSE-4 supports automatic video de-inversion and displays a stabilised image within 1.5 seconds of detecting an inverted signal. It also features simultaneous scanning across four frequency bands.

The declared signal detection range is up to 10 km in the 1.3 GHz band, and up to 4 km in the 3.3 GHz, 5.8 GHz and 6.8 GHz bands. The detector is equipped with a built-in 10,000 mAh (37 Wh) battery, providing up to seven hours of autonomous operation. Charging is carried out via a Type-C port with Fast Charge support.

The detector is priced at UAH 42,000. Detailed technical specifications are available on the company’s official website.

Contra-drone is a Ukrainian manufacturer of counter-UAV systems and electronic warfare solutions. According to the company, more than 90% of its products have an official NATO code. The manufacturer conducts its own laboratory and field testing cycles lasting up to three months.
