Ukrainian defence tech company TENCORE has taken equity stakes in two domestic robotic systems manufacturers, NODRICS and TOR. TENCORE co-founder and CEO Maksym Vasylchenko said this in an interview with Defender Media.

The companies’ products have joined the TENCORE Ecosystem, whose launch the company announced last week. Vasylchenko explained that the ecosystem will be built through mergers and acquisitions. “That is, we have either already acquired these companies or stakes in them, or are in the process of acquiring them,” he added.

The financial terms of the deals are not being disclosed. Vasylchenko said TENCORE made the first acquisitions with its own funds. “But there are deals with a number of other manufacturers in the pipeline, and for them we will need investment,” the CEO said.

Vasylchenko added that TENCORE will not necessarily buy out 100% of the companies joining the ecosystem. “But we will have a preferential right to buy their shares if their shareholders decide to sell an additional stake,” he clarified.

TOR is a heavy wheeled UGV with enhanced off-road capability and armoured wheels, designed for logistics and cargo transport in difficult conditions. In 2025, Andrii “Matematyk”, head of the UGV unit at the Khartiia brigade, called TOR one of the most promising UGVs on the market in an interview with Defender Media. “The idea and the organisation of the product are great,” he said, adding that Khartiia had placed orders with the manufacturer for at least a year ahead.

The MAT1LDA amphibious platform, developed by NODRICS, is designed for crossing water obstacles and moving over difficult terrain. It has a petrol engine and side pontoons. It carries up to 500 kg on land and up to 400 kg on water, with ranges of up to 160 km and 50 km, respectively. The MAT1LDA design features an open frame for mounting various equipment, including cargo containers and casualty evacuation stretchers. NODRICS co-founder and CEO is Denys Hlushko.
