SkyFall officially unveils Thor Hammer mid-strike and announces 1,000+ km version
SkyFall plans to ramp up production capacity to 5,000 Thor Hammer mid-strikes per month by the end of the year

Ukrainian company SkyFall has officially unveiled its own mid-strike system, announced this summer. The drone is called Thor Hammer.
SkyFall said the platform will be available in several variants with different ranges. Two versions are currently available: one can cover up to 350 km, while the other reaches up to 600 km.
The company is now working on a version with a range of more than 1,000 km. In addition, SkyFall’s R&D team has started developing proprietary engines for its mid-strikes.
According to the manufacturer, Thor Hammer is already being used on the frontline. By the end of the year, SkyFall plans to increase production capacity to 5,000 mid-strikes per month.
Thor Hammer: key specifications
Thor Hammer carries a 40–50 kg warhead and reaches speeds of up to 180 km/h. Depending on the configuration, it costs $25,000–30,000.
Other Thor Hammer specifications include:
- Wingspan: 3.5 m
- Length: 3 m
- Maximum altitude: up to 4,000 m
- Range: up to 350 km or 600 km, depending on the variant
- Optics: daylight and/or thermal imaging camera
- Deployment time: 18 minutes
- Can be equipped with fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation or other types of warheads
The company said the drone can be launched using either a catapult or rocket booster. This allows the system to be deployed from fixed platforms and mobile launchers mounted on trucks or other vehicles.
Communications, terminal guidance and remote control
Thor Hammer can be equipped with Starlink or other secure communication systems depending on the mission requirements. SkyFall says its multi-layer navigation system combines satellite, inertial and backup positioning, allowing the drone to continue its mission in environments affected by electronic warfare.
According to the manufacturer, Thor Hammer autonomously follows its mission route while transmitting live video. As it approaches the target, the system alerts the operator, who makes the final decision on whether to engage it.
Once the target is confirmed, the system uses artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies to automatically adjust its trajectory. SkyFall claims guidance continues even if radio or video communications are completely lost.
Thor Hammer is also integrated with SkyFall’s remote-control system, allowing operators to control the mid-strike from anywhere in the world.
The manufacturer emphasises that SkyFall develops the electronics that power Thor Hammer’s key systems in-house. The R&D team is also working on developing engines for its mid-strike systems.
