SkyFall developed mid-strike drone with a range of up to 600 km

Ukrainian defence tech company SkyFall has developed a mid-range strike drone with a 3.5-metre wingspan. The manufacturer revealed the system to Bloomberg at the Farnborough International Airshow, held in the UK on 20–21 July.

Defender Media asked SkyFall about the drone’s capabilities, price, and other details. Photos and specifications of the system are being published for the first time.

What the SkyFall mid-range strike drone can do

The first mid-range strike drone in SkyFall’s product portfolio has a maximum range of up to 600 km. It can carry a 40–50 kg payload, depending on the mission.

The system can be equipped with fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation, or other types of warheads depending on mission requirements and is designed to engage a wide range of targets.

The drone is priced at approximately $25,000–30,000, depending on its configuration. According to SkyFall, the system has already demonstrated successful combat performance, although the company is not yet disclosing operational details.

The company also confirmed that the drone is already in serial production. SkyFall has signed contracts with international partners to supply the systems to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

“By the end of the year, we plan to reach a production capacity of up to 1,000 units per month,” the company said.

SkyFall plans to publish an official release in the near future, revealing the drone’s name and additional details.
