Ukraine’s DoD Solution raised $2.1m in a pre-seed round

Ukrainian defence tech company DoD Solution has raised $2.1m in a pre-seed round, which will go towards the further development and scaling of the AURA AI autonomy platform. Defender learned of the closed round from the developer.

The company’s investors include Angel One Fund, Better Angle, Defence Builder Fund, Network VC, Newfund, UAID Fund, WildField Ventures and 4C-Next Holding AG, along with a number of business angels.

In addition, Canadian unmanned technology developer Draganfly joined the round as a strategic investor.

The funds raised will go towards launching production of the new generation of the AURA SBC onboard computer, further developing AURA OS software and onboard AI capabilities, and accelerating integrations with drone manufacturers in Ukraine and abroad.

DoD says the new generation of the AURA SBC computer is being developed with production scaling and NDAA requirements in mind. The company is also building the relevant component supply chain to enter the European and North American markets.

The AURA AI platform is DoD Solution’s flagship product, which combines software with the AURA SBC onboard computer. The project’s ultimate mission is to ensure the full autonomy of drones.
