Tencore CEO Maksym Vasylchenko to head the board of Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry, replacing Oleksandr Kamyshin
Vasylchenko also heads the Ukrainian Robotic Forces association

Oleksandr Kamyshin has stepped down as chairman of the board of the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry (UCDI). Maksym Vasylchenko, co-founder and CEO of Tencore, who also heads the Ukrainian Robotic Forces association, will replace him.
The leadership change was announced by UCDI. Kamyshin will remain a member of the Council’s board and will continue working on international and investment cooperation. In particular, he will develop the Council’s Investor Club, which currently brings together 24 investment funds.
Kamyshin became chairman of UCDI when it was launched in February 2025. Before that, he served as Ukraine’s Minister for Strategic Industries and, after leaving government, as an adviser to the President of Ukraine on strategic issues. In August 2026, Kamyshin announced he was stepping down from that role.
During the Council’s tenure, its ecosystem has grown to more than 400 members, the organisation said. The Council also works to represent the private defence industry’s interests in its engagement with the government and international partners.
Vasylchenko is co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian defence technology company Tencore, which develops and serially produces unmanned ground vehicles. More than 50 brigades use its platforms, and more than 3,000 are already on the battlefield. Tencore also develops autonomous control for robotic platforms and works with European partners on producing and integrating robotic systems.
