Dutch Tulip Tech, which manufactures batteries for unmanned vehicles, is rapidly expanding its operations in Ukraine. The company is currently recruiting a Commercial Manager, Field Application Manager and PR Manager for its Kyiv office.
Field Application Engineer
As Field Application Engineer for our Ukraine office, you will be part of a hands-on technical-commercial team bringing Tulip Tech’s latest battery technology directly to customers, partners and end-users. You will spend a significant part of your time in the field, demonstrating and testing new solutions, supporting UAV teams and helping customers find the right battery solution for their application.
This is not a traditional desk-based engineering role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the technology and the people using it, who can solve practical problems on the spot and who is motivated by turning technical conversations and field feedback into better products and new commercial opportunities.
What will you do?
- travel to customers, government partners and end-users to demonstrate, test and validate Tulip Tech battery solutions in real-world environments;
- support the integration, testing and optimization of batteries for different UAV platforms and troubleshoot technical issues in the field;
- introduce customers to new and experimental battery solutions and help them identify the best configuration for their application;
- understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions, product requirements and potential commercial opportunities;
- collect and structure technical feedback, measurements and observations and share clear recommendations with the engineering and commercial teams;
- work closely with the engineering and sales teams in Ukraine and the Netherlands to support customer projects and accelerate product development;
- after technical training, assemble, modify and prepare battery packs and prototypes when required, including practical build or configuration work close to the customer.
What are we looking for?
- Technical education in engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical field;
- Strong interest in combining technical expertise with customer interaction, sales and business development;
- Hands-on technical mindset and the ability to understand, explain and solve technical challenges in a practical way;
- Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with customers, end-users and technical stakeholders;
- Commercially minded and able to recognise customer needs, new applications and business opportunities during technical discussions;
- Proactive, independent and structured, with the ability to document field observations and translate them into clear follow-up actions;
- Experience with UAVs, drones, batteries, electronics, power systems, technical sales or field applications is a strong advantage.
What do we offer?
- full-time position based from the Kyiv office, with frequent field work and customer visits;
- competitive compensation + bons based on experience and technical background;
- direct collaboration with engineering, commercial and leadership teams in Ukraine and the Netherlands;
- practical training and knowledge transfer from the engineering team in the Netherlands and Ukraine;
- high level of autonomy and responsibility in a fast-growing international environment;
- opportunity to help build and shape the Field Application function in Ukraine and grow towards a technical-commercial role;
- work with cutting-edge battery and UAV technology in a team making a direct contribution to Ukraine’s security.
Commercial Manager
As Commercial Manager in Ukraine, you will lead the local B2B commercial organisation across Account Management, Technical Account Management and Field Application Engineering.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic accounts and ensuring that the team turns technical customer requirements into strong commercial opportunities.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role. You will coach the team, manage the pipeline and forecast, personally lead important deals and build long-term relationships with UAV manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, defence organisations and other strategic customers.
Because our products are highly technical, you will work closely with Field Application Engineers and our engineering teams to make sure customers receive the right technical support throughout the sales process.
What You Will Achieve
- Lead, coach and develop the Ukraine commercial team across Account Management, Technical Account Management and Field Application Engineering.
- Drive B2B revenue growth by building a strong pipeline, developing strategic accounts and converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
- Personally lead and close the largest and most strategic deals with UAV manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, defence organisations and other key customers.
- Own commercial performance, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, account planning, deal coaching, conversion and identification of at-risk opportunities.
- Ensure close collaboration between commercial and technical teams throughout the sales cycle, from identifying customer needs and technical evaluation through testing, integration, negotiation and deployment.
- Build and improve scalable sales processes, including qualification, CRM discipline, deal reviews, customer segmentation and account management.
- Represent Tulip Tech with senior customers, strategic partners, industry stakeholders and at selected events, demonstrations and PR activities.
What we are looking for:
- BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Business, Technology or another relevant technical or commercial field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B technical sales, business development, account management or sales engineering.
- Proven experience leading and developing commercial or technical customer-facing teams.
- Strong track record of managing complex B2B sales cycles involving technical, commercial and senior decision-makers.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate credibly with engineers, procurement teams, founders and senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong skills in negotiation, pipeline management, forecasting, strategic account development and deal execution.
- Fluent in Ukrainian and at minimum B2 English, with willingness to travel frequently within Ukraine and periodically internationally.
Nice to have
- Experience within UAVs, defence technology, aerospace, robotics, electronics, batteries or advanced hardware.
- Existing network within Ukrainian UAV manufacturers, OEMs, defence organisations or system integrators.
- Experience managing Field Application Engineers, Sales Engineers or Technical Account Managers.
- Understanding of lithium-ion batteries, electrical systems, UAV power systems or battery integration.
- Experience selling technically complex products with long or multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles.
- Experience building or scaling a B2B sales organisation in a fast-growing company.
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems such as HubSpot or Odoo.
What We Offer
- Full-time position based from our Kyiv office, with frequent field work and customer visits.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and technical background, including a performance-based bonus package.
- Direct collaboration with engineering, commercial and leadership teams in Ukraine and the Netherlands.
- Practical training and continuous knowledge transfer from Tulip Tech’s engineering teams in both countries.
- High level of autonomy and responsibility in a fast-growing international environment.
- Opportunity to build and shape Tulip Tech’s B2B commercial and technical customer-facing organization in Ukraine.
- Work with cutting-edge battery and UAV technology in a team making a direct contribution to Ukraine’s security.
PR Manager
As PR Manager in Ukraine, you will be responsible for building and strengthening Tulip Tech’s external presence in the Ukrainian market.
You will own PR, media relations and external communications, while also taking the lead on events, conferences and other opportunities where Tulip Tech is represented externally.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will work closely with the commercial and leadership teams in Ukraine and with colleagues in the Netherlands to make sure our messaging is clear, consistent and relevant to the market.
What You Will Achieve
- Develop and execute Tulip Tech’s PR approach in Ukraine and strengthen our visibility across the UAV, defence and technology ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, industry organisations and other relevant external stakeholders.
- Identify PR opportunities and create press releases, media stories, interviews, announcements and other external communication materials.
- Lead Tulip Tech’s participation in Ukrainian events, conferences, exhibitions and industry gatherings, from planning and coordination through on-site representation.
- Work closely with commercial and leadership teams to communicate customer successes, partnerships, product developments and important company milestones.

- 4+ years of experience in PR, media relations, communications, journalism or a related field.
- Strong experience working with journalists, media outlets and external stakeholders, including handling press enquiries and interviews.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear and engaging communication.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and the confidence to represent Tulip Tech professionally with media, partners and industry stakeholders.
- Experience organising and coordinating events, conferences, exhibitions or other external activities.
- Proactive and independent working style, comfortable owning the PR function in Ukraine and building processes from the ground up.
- Fluent in Ukrainian and C1 English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Background in journalism, media, corporate communications or public relations.
- Experience within defence, UAVs, aerospace, technology, engineering or another technical industry.
- Existing network within Ukrainian media, technology or defence-related organisations.
- Experience working with international companies or coordinating communications across multiple countries.
- Experience with social media, content creation or digital marketing.
- Experience supporting senior leaders with interviews, speaking opportunities or media preparation.
- Experience organising large industry events, exhibitions or conferences.
What We Offer
- Full-time position based from our Kyiv office, with regular attendance at external events and industry activities.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and background.
- Direct collaboration with commercial, engineering and leadership teams in Ukraine and the Netherlands.
- High level of autonomy and responsibility as the main PR professional for Tulip Tech in Ukraine.
- Opportunity to build and shape Tulip Tech’s PR, media and event presence in one of our most important markets.
- Work in a rapidly growing international environment at the intersection of technology, UAVs and defence.
- Opportunity to represent a company whose technology is making a direct contribution to Ukraine’s security.
Supply Chain Manager
As Supply Chain Manager in Ukraine, you will own warehousing, planning and logistics for our Ukrainian operation. You will make sure inbound and outbound flows run predictably, that stock levels match production and customer demand, and that our cross-border shipments between the Netherlands and Ukraine move without delay.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will work closely with production, commercial and leadership teams in Ukraine and with supply chain colleagues in the Netherlands to build a supply chain that can keep pace with rapid growth.
What You Will Achieve
- Take full ownership of warehousing in Ukraine, including goods receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, cycle counting and outbound dispatch.
- Plan and schedule inbound and outbound logistics, including cross-border shipments between the Netherlands and Ukraine, customs documentation and carrier coordination.

- Fluent in Ukrainian and B2 English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience in defence, UAVs, aerospace, electronics or another technical industry.
- Familiarity with dual-use goods, export control requirements or defence-related import procedures.
- Experience working with ERP or WMS systems and improving the data quality behind them.
- Experience working with international teams across multiple countries.
What We Offer
- Full-time position based from our Kyiv, with regular presence at our warehouse.
- Competitive compensation based on experience and background.
