Fire Point reveals photos and specifications of the upgraded 3,400 km-range FP-1

Ukrainian defence tech company Fire Point has published an Instagram video showcasing the specifications of its upgraded FP-1 and FP-2 strike drones.

The FP-1 deep-strike drone is capable of flying up to 3,400 km while carrying a 60 kg warhead. The range of the FP-2 mid-strike drone has been increased to 700 km with a 200 kg warhead.

According to the manufacturer, the drones have a maximum speed of 205 km/h and a cruising speed of 140–180 km/h. Both the FP-1 and FP-2 have a 6-metre wingspan.

Fire Point’s majority owner, Denys Shtilerman, also shared new photos of the FP-1 on X, revealing redesigned wings with integrated additional fuel tanks.

On 20 June, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the upgraded FP-1 was capable of striking targets at ranges exceeding 3,000 km, following the drone’s successful attack on the Tyumen oil refinery, located more than 2,000 km from Ukraine’s border.

In early July, the FP-1 also struck the Omsk oil refinery after flying 3,400 km. That distance has now been officially added to the drone’s published specifications.
