Contra-Drone unveils Nyvexa UGV for electronic warfare and logistics

Ukrainian defence tech company Contra-Drone has developed the Nyvexa UGV, which can carry a payload of 300–350 kg. The platform is currently undergoing combat trials and codification, Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi, the manufacturer’s director of development, told Defender Media.

The UGV uses three types of communication: LTE, Starlink, and analogue, and is equipped with batteries and a generator to power them. Its maximum speed reaches 20 km/h.

The drone’s range is 70–85 km with EW switched off, and 60–80 km with EW switched on. Operating time also depends on the modules: 7 hours with EW switched off, and 5.5–6.5 hours with EW switched on.

Nyvexa has a modular design, so it can be used as a carrier for electronic warfare equipment, for logistics, or as a launch platform for interceptor drones. The EW system carried by Nyvexa has five dome-coverage modules.

Plans to scale production of the UGV are set for after codification. Last year, Contra-Drone unveiled another platform, NEO. It is also equipped with an EW device capable of countering FPV drones and Mavic-type drones.
