Ministry of Defence has codified DevDroid’s universal UGV control system
The system will also appear on Brave1 Market in the near future

Droid Box, an UGV control system developed by Ukrainian company DevDroid, has been codified by the Ministry of Defence. The solution will also appear on Brave1 Market in the near future.
The system is already in use across more than 1,000 UGVs. It unifies the control of various ground drones, offering a single interface and single operating logic for all platforms. This reduces operator training time, according to the manufacturer.
The product supports six communication types, features GPS spoofing protection, provides additional diagnostics of UGV technical condition, and enables the use of AI elements. Through Droid Box, an operator gains access to key functions – movement, armament, and telemetry – on a single tablet or gamepad screen. Droid Box can also be integrated with the Wolly combat module.
The system has already been installed on the following UGVs:
- Droid TW-7.62
- Droid TW-12.7
- Droid NW 40
- Numo
- Zmiy Droid 12.7
- Tanchyk Droid 12.7
- Rawlyk Droid 12.7
- Bizon Droid 12.7
The manufacturer states that if military units have various platforms that are not functioning or are difficult to operate, they can transfer them to the company for Droid Box installation. Once the solution appears on Brave1 Market, units will be able to integrate it independently using the provided instructions.
One of the UGVs fitted with the system recently helped a Ukrainian unit repel an assault. As Defender Media reported, the robot detected an ambush involving two loitering drones “waiters” and destroyed them, before opening fire on enemy personnel.
