Ukrainian deftech company Roboneers has developed a new transformer drone called Bulldog. The UAV can function both as a relay drone and as a payload delivery platform. Roboneers shared the details with Defender Media.

As a relay, the drone can provide stable radio communication between ground and aerial assets in dense urban environments and complex terrain, the company states. The UAV can also operate as a bomber, dropping payloads on designated targets.

The drone features a protected control channel and can operate in conditions of limited visibility, GPS loss, high humidity and dust, as well as at night. Bulldog is currently in the testing phase. The specifications are as follows:

  • Flight range – up to 20 km, tactical radius – up to 10 km
  • Payload capacity – up to 10 kg
  • Cruising speed – 12–15 m/s
  • Flight endurance – up to 70 minutes without payload

The company also has in its lineup the Wardog TRN relay carrier and the Wardog Scout reconnaissance drone. Roboneers additionally produces UGVs, the Sabre remote-controlled combat module, a control unit for surface drones, and the KTYR terminal guidance module.
