Tencore has presented an AI module for controlling UGVs. Average cost – $1,000
On the way is a version for APCs, MRAPs, and combat reconnaissance patrol vehicles

Ukrainian defence tech company Tencore has presented AI Kit – a module for UGVs that operates based on artificial intelligence. The system reduces the operator’s burden, supports autonomous platform movement, and adjusts the trajectory.
A version for armoured personnel carriers, MRAPs, and combat reconnaissance patrol vehicles is also under development.
Key functions of the module
Among the functions the module unlocks is autonomous movement along a set route. The system can continue moving in zones with a weaker signal, and in the event of a complete loss of signal, it can turn around and return along the same route.
The operator can pre-configure the mission and the UGV’s behaviour according to the terrain, load, and task requirements. Emergency scenarios are also set in advance.
During autonomous operation, the operator can monitor key parameters of the complex, including battery charge and communication quality, and switch to manual control at any time.
Cost of AI Kit and main clients
The module has been developed since September 2025. Average cost – $1,000, but it depends on the subscription level. There are currently three:
- Trial – for testing the technology;
- Standard – a combat subscription for missions with various complexes;
- Extended – a subscription for a large fleet of UGVs, which allows first access to subsequent versions of the module.
The company says that AI Kit will be compatible with various UGVs. It is currently being supplied on TerMIT 2.0 from Tencore, with an installation guide included for quick setup. The developer is collecting statistics to determine exactly which additional UGV models need to be integrated.
Tencore states that it has already provided a module to ten brigades. The main client for the system is the Defence Forces.
