The United States signs a contract to procure 2,000 Ukrainian F10 FPV drones

Ukrainian Defense Drones Tech Corp., which represents the Ukrainian manufacturer F-Drones in the US, has received a contract from the Pentagon. The US wants to procure two thousand F10 FPV drones. The parties currently have a signed supply contract, and the export licence application is under review at the SSECU and the interagency commission on export control. This was disclosed to Defender Media by a representative of F-Drones while commenting on the company’s participation in the second phase of the the American Drone Dominance programme.

The F10 drone took sixth place in the first phase of Drone Dominance – the American programme in which the military tests drones and procures the best ones. The F10 scored 72.9 points out of 100. The table of winners states that the Pentagon intends to purchase 2,000 drones.

The manufacturer plans to invest the money received under the contract in R&D and to localise the production of components in Ukraine that comply with the American National Defence Act. The process of obtaining the licence for sales abroad is being handled by the company SpetsTechnoExport.

F-Drones will also take part in the second phase of Drone Dominance, which will begin in August, with its interests again represented by Ukrainian Defense Drones Tech Corp. 48 companies have been invited to take part in this stage. The maximum number of winners is ten, and the military will procure 60,000 drones from them.
