Defender continues to publish a weekly digest of vacancies in Ukrainian defence tech, which we do in partnership with the recruitment platform BazaIT.

In addition to the traditional selection from the section’s partner, today we focus on vacancies at the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), which is developing many practical projects for the army. Recently, Defender talked about the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, which is scheduled to launch in May.

Vacancies from the DOT

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) is a state agency that fulfills the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It includes the DOT-Chain, an IT system for managing the logistics needs of the army. Launched in September 2024, the system shortened the supply cycle for units, automated supplies to a certain extent, removed much of the unnecessary paperwork, and simplified control over documentation and funds.

The DOT-Chain Defence platform, a new step in the development of DOT-Chain, is scheduled to be launched in May 2025. This is a kind of marketplace where military units can independently select and order the necessary equipment contracted by the state. In April, the platform was presented to manufacturers and is currently being finalised for them.

The state-owned logistics operator is rapidly digitising, so it is looking for IT specialists and project managers. As you know, working in a government project has its pros and cons. You can learn about them from the description of seven current DOT vacancies:
