Defender Media turns one. We’re raising UAH 500,000 for interceptor drones for the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment

On March 12, 2025, we launched Defender Media — a project about defenсe technologies that help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression. Over the past year, we have published around 1,000 articles and grown our community to more than 12,000 subscribers.

We thank our readers, partner companies, and all Ukrainian manufacturers in the defence tech sector.

Above all, we thank the Ukrainian defenders who make it possible for us to do what we love and contribute to strengthening the country’s defence capability.

That is why, on Defender Media’s anniversary, we are launching a fundraiser for interceptor drones for the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Regiment.

This unit protects the skies over Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. Our goal is to raise UAH 500,000 to purchase 10+ SkyFall P1-SUN interceptor drones.

These drones are designed to destroy enemy UAVs in the air, primarily Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

In just four months of combat use, Ukrainian forces have already used them to destroy more than 1,500 Shahed and Gerbera drones, as well as around 1,000 other UAVs.

In the coming days, we will introduce our readers to these drones and explain how the 1020th regiment uses them to protect Ukrainian citizens, critical infrastructure, and military facilities.
