Galka reconnaissance drones debut on the Brave1 Market: what they can do
The drones can stay airborne for up to three hours and transmit video in real time

The Galka MK2 and Galka MK3 reconnaissance drones have appeared on the state Brave1 marketplace. The manufacturer, Warbirds Ukraine LLC, spoke to Defender Media and explained what sets these drones apart.
The Galka family of reconnaissance drones (formerly known as Valkyrie) has been used in the combat zone since 2015 and has undergone significant modernisation over that period. The current models are fixed-wing UAVs with an endurance of around three hours, a cruising speed of 70 km/h and a range of up to 180 km. Drones are capable of flying in adverse weather conditions, including snow, rain, fog and temperatures as low as –20°C.
The Galka MK3 has already been codified and is designed to transmit digital video in real time and collect intelligence with precise positioning. The drone features a gyrostabilised camera, protected control channel, and can operate without GPS.
The Galka MK2 is also codified. The drone is designed for aerial photography and is equipped with a visual navigation module that allows it to operate autonomously in electronic warfare environments.
Take-off and landing are fully automated, using an elastic catapult. The airframe itself is made of EPP with a carbon frame and composite materials. The system is operated by a two-person crew, with pre-flight preparation taking around 15 minutes.
The price of the Halka MK2 on Brave1 Market is UAH 613,000 (UAH 2.3 million for the full UAS with antennas, stations and other components), while the Halka MK3 costs UAH 665,000 (UAH 2.5 million for the full system).
Earlier, Defender Media reported on the most effective strike system based on the results of the “Army of Drones. Bonus” initiative in 2025.
