The manufacturer has released video footage of the drone being tested with a payload, demonstrating the use of various types of munitions.

Defender Media learned from the manufacturer that the drone is currently undergoing internal testing. The drone’s fibre-optic spool is an in-house development and is designed for a range of up to 50 kilometres. Ptashka Drones are awaiting feedback from the military regarding their 17-inch drone, in order to take it into account when producing the larger model.

The increased size of the FPV platform allows for a higher payload capacity, enabling the use of more powerful warheads. The larger dimensions also provide greater flight range and operating radius thanks to the use of a larger battery and the fibre-optic spool.

Defender Media previously reported on the completion of trials of the Shuhai strike drone with a flight range of more than 50 km.
