The Ministry of Defence has codified the Air Baby 350 interceptor drone

The Ministry of Defence has codified the Air Baby 350 interceptor drone from Strix Air. The UAV will soon become available via ePoints and will appear on the DOT-Chain platform, the manufacturer told Defender Media.

The company’s new interceptor reaches a speed of 350 km/h and has better manoeuvrability and stability than its predecessor, the Air Baby, which was approved for operation in spring.

The drone’s flight duration is 15 minutes, and its maximum altitude is 6 km. The tactical range of use is 35 km, and the warhead mass is 500 g.

The interceptor’s price starts from UAH 43,200 and depends on the camera type. There are also versions fitted with the Sine.Link communication module. The manufacturer says it extends the drone’s ability to detect and track aerial targets in difficult conditions.

Combat units are already using the new drone. At the same time, Strix Air has begun developing a high-speed version that will fly at a speed of 450 km/h.

The manufacturer says that over the 7 months of this year, troops have destroyed more than 1,000 aerial targets using the Air Baby interceptor. It began being supplied to the army in February, and in March the company announced the start of serial production. In the August Army Bonus+ rating, the Air Baby ranked 11th by number of hits.
