EW-resistant Air Baby interceptor drone by Strix Air codified
The drone currently ranks 10th among interceptor drones in the Army Bonus+ strike leaderboard

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has codified and approved for operation the EW-resistant Air Baby interceptor drone developed by Strix Air, the company announced.
Back in March, Defender Media reported that Strix Air was launching serial production of the Air Baby interceptor. At the time, the company disclosed the drone’s specifications and published footage of its first Shahed interceptions. Alongside the codification announcement, the manufacturer has now shared details about its proprietary communications system and the drone’s position in the Army Bonus+ ranking.
According to the company, the interceptor uses a dual-frequency control system powered by Strix Beta communications technology, designed to withstand electronic warfare interference. Strix Air CEO Eduard Baiev said the EW-resistant link has already proven itself in combat conditions on the frontline.
The manufacturer says Air Baby drones have been deployed in combat since February 2026 and currently rank 10th in the Army Bonus+ strike leaderboard among interceptor drones.
Prices for the Air Baby start at UAH 37,000. The drones are already listed on Brave1 Market and, following codification, will also become available through the DOT-Chain Defence procurement system.
Strix Air also stated that Air Baby drones are being operated by the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of Unmanned Systems “Steppe Predators”, the Da Vinci Wolves unit, the 17th Special Operations Centre, the Strix unit of the State Border Guard Service, and other formations.
