Ukrainian defence tech company General Cherry has released footage showing its General Cherry Bullet interceptor drones shooting down Russian Shaheds. The manufacturer first unveiled the new interceptor at the end of October.

According to the company, the successful missions were carried out by one of the units that first received a batch of General Chereshnia Bullet drones. The video shows two hits: in the first case, the interceptor strikes the Shahed’s left wing, and in the second, it destroys the target from below.

General Cherry says it has supplied Defence Forces units with hundreds of interceptor drones designed to neutralise Shahed-type attack UAVs. “This is the largest free batch of interceptors provided by a manufacturer to strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s airspace to date,” the company notes.

So far, General Cherry Bullet and General Cherry Air interceptor drones have already downed dozens of Shahed-type drones, the company adds.

Defender Media previously reported that the General Chereshnia Air interceptor has already destroyed 5,000 enemy targets.
