Roboneers’ Saber remote-controlled weapon station to be integrated with Vepr UGV
Developers are considering five modules from the Saber range for integration

Partner-VS, the supplier of the Vepr UGV, has agreed to cooperate with the defence tech company Roboneers. Under the agreement, the ground drone will be integrated with the Saber remote-controlled weapon station developed by Roboneers.
According to the press release, developers are considering five modules from the Saber range for integration:
- Saber 7.62 – for 7.62 mm PKT-type machine guns
- Saber M240 – for 7.62 mm M240-type machine guns
- Saber K-2 – with two AK-74 assault rifles
- Saber M2 – for 12.7 mm machine guns of the Browning M2, Canik M2 and MG-50 QCB types
- Saber MK 19(M) – for 40 mm MK19 and AGL-53 grenade launchers
The companies are already working on combining the products and add that the aim is to provide units with a mobile platform that can be configured for a specific task.
The Vepr UGV has been operating at the frontline since 2024. The drone was designed for logistics, evacuation and demining, and can also serve as a kamikaze robot.
The UGV’s payload capacity is 250 kg, and its speed with two electric motors is over 12 km/h. Its range is over 50 km. The drone supports six communication types, including LTE and Starlink.
