Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has codified the Bebradron strike UAV developed by Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech. Following codification, the drone can be officially procured and supplied to Ukraine’s Defence Forces, the manufacturer announced.
Bebradron is a fixed-wing tactical UAV developed in Ukraine for medium-range missions.
The drone’s stated specifications are:
- tactical operating radius — up to 45 km;
- flight endurance — from 30 minutes;
- speed — up to 150 km/h;
- payload — up to 7.5 kg.
The drone is launched from a compact pneumatic catapult manufactured by BlueBird Tech. It is controlled by an operator and transmits video and telemetry in real time.
In August 2026, BlueBird Tech unveiled a modular version of the Bebradron — the “Bebradron KIT”. Customers can select the control, video transmission, camera, flight electronics and navigation systems, as well as other modules.
