The new funding round will accelerate Osavul’s scaling and help deepen its AI capabilities

Ukrainian company Osavul has raised €8.5 million (around $10 million) in a Series A investment round. The round was led by European firm 33N Ventures, with investment funds Balnord, Giesecke+Devrient Ventures and 42CAP also participating.
Osavul offers governments and businesses AI-powered OSINT solutions to help detect disinformation and hostile information campaigns. Osavul specialises in AI-powered media analytics, helping analyse social media posts and identify coordinated campaigns. Osavul’s AI platform monitors open and closed data to detect hostile intent. The startup raised $1 million in 2023 and another $3 million in September 2024. Its founders are Dmytro Plieshakov and Dmytro Bilash.
Osavul currently serves government and defence organisations in more than 10 countries, including the UK, Germany, Poland and the US. The company is headquartered in Luxembourg. Osavul says the total value of its contracts increased fourfold in 2025.
