Roboneers has codified the strike UGV SabLynx PRO M2

Ukrainian defence tech company Roboneers has codified its SabLynx PRO M2 UGV. The platform is equipped with a 12.7mm calibre machine gun, the manufacturer disclosed to Defender Media.

The complex combines the Lynx PRO logistics drone and the remotely controlled Saber M2 combat module. The latter is equipped with the Ukrainian MG-50 QCB or the American Browning. The combat module’s rate of fire is 450–650 rounds per minute.

The UGV has a range of 70–85 km on hard surfaces and 25–35 km off-road, and uses a radio channel, mesh network, LTE and optionally Starlink for communication. Its maximum speed is up to 12 km/h, and its operating time under continuous movement is up to 5 hours.

The codified complex is designed for infantry fire support at a distance of up to 1.5 km, the destruction of lightly armoured targets, and holding positions. With its help, the 93rd Brigade cleared two villages last year.

The company says that codification opens the way to state procurement and serial supply of the system to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over the summer, the manufacturer also codified the remotely controlled Sabre K2 turret, fitted with two paired AK-74 assault rifles.
