Roboneers codifies Saber K2 remote-controlled turret

Ukrainian defence tech company Roboneers has codified the Saber K2 remote-controlled combat module. The turret is now ready for official supply to the Armed Forces, the manufacturer disclosed to Defender Media.

Sabre K2 was presented in spring this year. This turret is equipped with two paired AK-74 assault rifles. Fire can be conducted either from both simultaneously or from each individually. The module operates via cable or Starlink and is powered by a built-in power source, an external battery, or a UGV.

This version of Saber was equipped with three cameras: a wide-angle daytime camera for reconnaissance, a narrow-angle daytime camera for aimed fire, and a thermal imaging camera for operation at night and in conditions of limited visibility.

Saber has currently received 5 modifications with different types of armament. In addition to the K2, there are versions with PKT, M240, Browning M2, Canik M2 and MG-50 QCB machine guns. The Saber MK19 modification was created for 40mm calibre grenade launchers: the MK19 and AGL-53.
