Swedish Disarmament Solutions becomes European distributor of Buntar Aerospace

Ukrainian defence tech company Buntar Aerospace has signed a distribution agreement with Sweden’s Disarmament Solutions, part of the Argo Defence group. The manufacturer disclosed this on LinkedIn.

Under the agreement, Disarmament Solutions will represent Buntar’s unmanned systems to international partners. The company will also help integrate UAVs into European and other defence ecosystems.

Bohdan Sas, Buntar Aerospace co-founder, says the partnership opens new opportunities for introducing Ukrainian defence technologies in Europe. On his page, he also added that equipment exports are governed by Ukrainian legislation, ‘which is starting to show some fast-tracking’.

Among the company’s products are the Buntar-3 reconnaissance UAS and Buntar Copilot software. The drone was first publicly unveiled in late May 2025. It is a vertical take-off and landing drone capable of missions lasting up to four hours. This summer, it also gained remote control capability.

The Copilot software forecasts mission scenarios, helps avoid errors under stressful conditions, and calculates flight sequencing, among other functions. The company raised $10.4m in investment this spring for its development and for scaling up Buntar-3 production.

Disarmament Solutions, which has become the drone distributor, specialises instead in disarmament and provides weapons destruction services. The company previously sold demining equipment to a client operating in Ukraine. The deal was worth SEK 2.5m.
