Ukrainian Unwave holds first international field testing of its EW systems in Czechia
Минулого року компанія поставила понад 45 тисяч одиниць продукції для потреб оборони України

Ukrainian defence tech manufacturer Unwave demonstrated its products to representatives of the Armed Forces, the National Police and the Protection Service of Constitutional Officials of the Czech Republic. The company says this is the first time a Ukrainian manufacturer has conducted a practical demonstration of tactical EW systems abroad. The testing took place near Prague.
The team showcased products for protecting infrastructure and transport from unmanned aerial vehicles. In particular, it tested the Bashur, Boombox, Shatro, Patelnia and Malyuk EW systems. The systems detected and suppressed DJI Mavic and Autel drones, while FPV drones lost control under their influence.
Unwave’s new CEO Taras Bublyk previously said that Unwave’s future lies in creating comprehensive ecosystems for countering drone threats – from protecting military units on the front line to protecting critical infrastructure, business and civilian facilities. The development of international cooperation is also a separate priority for the company.
Unwave was founded in 2023, and its team currently numbers over 350 specialists. Last year, the company supplied more than 45,000 units of products for the defence needs of Ukraine. Its representatives add that the company became the first manufacturer to receive a licence from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to scale up tactical EW systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This spring, the Octopus interceptor drone manufactured by Unwave also appeared on the Brave1 marketplace. The manufacturer announced plans to produce this drone, as well as its own UAV development, at the beginning of the year.
