The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified the Pliushch unmanned ground vehicle developed by Robotic Complexes. It is an autonomous modular platform engineered for deploying mesh networks and relaying tactical communications.

The Pliushch UGV can be configured as a mobile communications and relay node, a platform for signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems, or a mobile reconnaissance and surveillance complex. A key feature of the platform is its retractable 9.8-metre mast, which significantly expands communications coverage and enables equipment deployment across challenging terrain.

The system is equipped with an electric powertrain and boasts enhanced cross-country mobility. It has a gross weight of approximately 1 tonne, while the maximum payload capacity reaches up to 40 kg. The UGV’s maximum speed is rated at 12 km/h, with an operational range extending up to 40 km.

Command link and data transmission between the UGV and the operator are maintained through MIL ERLS and Starlink systems, while the option of integrating fibre-optic communication lines is also supported.

According to Ihor Chaikivskyi, founder and CEO of Robotic Complexes, the Pliushch is optimized for scenarios where the platform remains concealed in position, operating in ambush or standby mode for extended periods. In this operational profile, the battery endurance exceeds four days.

The platform has already been deployed on the front line for several months. According to the 61st Separate Stepova Mechanised Brigade, the UGV requires approximately one minute to deploy into operational readiness.

The platform is priced at around UAH 1.5 million. In the near future, the complex is expected to become available for procurement through the “e-points” programme.

Earlier, Defender Media reported on the Murakha UGV developed by Robotic Complexes, which is designed for cargo logistics, ammunition resupply, and casualty evacuation from frontline positions.
