Defence City residents generate over UAH 89bn so far this year
A total of 31 manufacturers have joined the special legal framework since Defence City was launched

The number of enterprises admitted to the Defence City special legal framework has increased to 31. This specialised state support regime includes manufacturers from across Ukraine’s defence-industrial sector, encompassing developers of unmanned systems and missile weaponry, the Ministry of Defence reported.
Following the admission of these new entities, the residents’ combined qualified revenue from the sale of military hardware has reached UAH 89.7 billion.
The Ministry has not disclosed the identities of the defense firms that recently secured resident status under the regime. Previously, it was reported that the inaugural resident was the Ukrainian company SkyFall, known for manufacturing the “Vampire” heavy bomber drone and other uncrewed platforms.
Defence City was established to consolidate enterprises within Ukraine’s defence-industrial complex and provide them with targeted forms of state support. The framework has maintained active operations since its launch towards the end of 2025. Earlier, Defender Media analyzed the specific advantages of the Defence City legal framework, the eligibility criteria for prospective applicants, and other core aspects of cooperation between the state and defense manufacturers.
